The Lindenthal Web Design Process

Building websites for 8 years you begin to learn to identify and avoid some of the more common bottlenecks and pitfalls that can throw a project off track. I have taken this experience and coupled it with techniques that do work and have called this regimen my Web Development Process. It is broken down into the 5 stages described below.

I. Planning

Conversations will take place to discuss the scope of the project, including a review of your expectations and provided content, initial time line, and deliverables. Any questions can be asked of Lindenthal Web Design before any work begins.

II. Discovery

This phase produces the creative brief - or project direction - that we will agree upon to pursue together. Confirmation of the direction and scope of the project, the website content and structure, an outline of responsibilities, and the project time line will all take shape at this time.

III. Create

The presentation of the initial direction for your website is included in the third phase of the project. You will be able to see the website online with static content in place to communicate the overall "look & feel". These layouts are then followed by rounds of revisions (two rounds max for both design and copy) to arrive at the agreed upon solution to serve as the visual basis of your site.

IV. Develop

During the development phase, Lindenthal Web Design will work to build and test your site. I will solicit your input during the initial review of the mock-up as well as when the site has been fully built for review.

V. Testing & Deployment

This final phase of website production includes installing the site on the live server and testing to ensure code and tools are properly implemented. Another happy website on the internet! Contact me today and let's get started on your web design project.
